HOW IT WORKS
You’ll move through seven activities, with each using hands-on techniques to fine-tune your knowledge. Learn more about the day and check out a few of the activities below.
ABOUT THE DAY
Some things you need to know:
The day is not a test or about passing or failing, it’s about learning by doing, self-assessing, having fun and going away knowing what you don’t know.
The cost to do the programme is only $149.00 for the full day.
You'll spend the day at the venue from 9.15am until late afternoon.
Please bring your, learners, restricted or full licence.
Please bring your own lunch and refreshments with you. Some venues do have places to purchase food however, lunch break is only 30 mins.
You will need to bring your own vehicle (with current registration, warrant of fitness and insurance). It’s important that you understand the capability of your own car, and how it responds in different situations. That’s why many of the activities on the day are conducted in the car you’re learning to drive in.
Before you arrive, please remove any loose items that may move around in your vehicle i.e. water bottles, shoes etc. You will be experiencing the likes of emergency braking hence loose objects in the car are not permitted.
Your parent (or guardian) is required to attend with you – this is important as we want to make sure the learning continues after you leave the Street Smart day.
